EP China / Electrical China 2010 Will Give Special Focus on Green Power and Smart Grid Development
The electrical industry eagerly anticipates EP China 2010 – “The 13th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology” and Electrical China 2010 - “The 6th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors’ Supplies” to be held October 19 –21, 2010 at China International Exhibition Centre (Hall 1AB, 2-5), Beijing, PR China. This year’s exhibition will feature 22,000 sq m of exhibiting area, a 30% increase over the last edition.  Founded in 1986, EP China is a one-of-a-kind event organized by China Electricity Council and held in Beijing and Shanghai in alternate years. This well-regarded electric power expo is the only one of its kind endorsed by UFI Approved Event in China, with full support from major power group corporations and power grid corporations of China.  EP China / Electrical China broke records in 2008. It featured 400 leading global suppliers from 20 countries/regions. They included: 3M, ABB, Areva, Siemens, Schneider, Chint, GE Energy, Hyosung, Eaton, Toshiba, Hitachi, Japan AE Power, EDF, Mennekes, Rochling, Tamco, Woehner, Du Pont, Dow Corning, Yinhe Hitech, Exide, Rittal, NRG, Hyundai Heavy Industry, Formosa and Wartsila, and more.  Moreover, it featured 16 major power group corporations and power grid corporations in China, including State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, Datang, Huaneng, Huadian, Guodian, China Power Investment, Shen Hua, Three Gorges Project, Guangdong Nuclear, Guangdong Yudean, Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group and State Nuclear. International pavilions from Germany, the U.K. (BEAMA), Korea (Korea Electrical Manufacturers Association), the U.S. (US Embassy - Commercial Service) and Spain (AFME) brought their state-of-the-art products and technology to the fairground. Almost 27,000 visitors from 47 countries/regions, including 20 visit delegations from electric power associations, attended. EP China / Electrical China 2010 will build upon that success. The event has gained widespread recognition from international trade associations and global market leaders. According to the organizer, almost all the past exhibitors and world-famous enterprises have booked or reserved their booths. They include ABB, Areva, Siemens, Hyosung, Schneider, Japan AE Power, 3M, Chint, Hyundai, NARI, NERC, Hitachi, Toshiba, Ormazabal, Pentair, Rittal, KGE, Exide, S&C, Sicame, Roechling, Wacker, MR China, Argillon, Daqo, etc. In addition to Germany, the U.S., the U.K. and Korea, France, Taiwan and Russia will also host international pavilions.  In accordance with the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan", the total investment in power grid construction will reach 1.4 trillion yuan in the next 3 years. By the year 2020, the total investment in renewable energy in China will amount to trillions of yuan. The business opportunities for industries dealing with electric power automation, energy conservation, green power and renewable energy are enormous. Reflecting the rapid development and market demand, concurrent events — "2010 International Exhibition of Electric Power Automation Equipment & Technology (EPA 2010)" and the “2010 International Exhibition of Energy Conservation, Environmental Power Technology and Renewable Energy (ECEP 2010)” — will bring synergy to both exhibitors and buyers. During the fair, a series of specialized seminars and forums will be held for trade professionals. Topics include power transmission & distribution technology, green power and energy conservation technology, and electric power automation technology. Speakers will provide invaluable information for the industry. At EP Shanghai 2009, “Electric Power Industry Technology & Power Grid Construction and Development Conference" included distinguished speakers such as Mr. Zhang Li Y ing, the Chief Engineer of the State Grid Corp. of China; Mr. Liu Zhi Hong, the Deputy Director of Research Center of China Southern Power Grid; and Mr. Gao Song, the Deputy GM of China Guodian Corporation. The  "Energy Conservation and Electric Power Automation Technology Forum" was another attention-grabbing event presented by Professor Qiao Fei from the Automation Institute of the Chinese Expert Advisory Committee, Integrated Automation and Process Automation Professional Committee, Shanghai Institute of Automation and Tongji University; and Professor Peng Yu from China Automation Association and PLC Open China Organization.   Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn about the latest trends and network with top players in China and from around the world in the power industry.  EP China / Electrical China 2010 is the only power expo organized by China Electricity Council, with Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd as the overseas co-organizer.
