London, England – February 24, 2010 – With summer time approaching, one of the busiest travel seasons of the year, one thing is for certain. Parking at Gatwick airport is going to be near impossible. Gatwick Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, and services over three million passengers a year, and is the ninth busiest airport in the world, in terms of international passengers. Because of local stipulations at the airport, there are only so many parking spaces available for people to park at. Many of these stipulations are in place for the safety and security of the airport as a whole. To combat this issue, services have been made available which allow individuals to pre-book their parking spaces online. Parking-At-Gatwick-Airport.org is an informational site which has been set up to aid people in with their parking issues. A spokesperson from the website said, “People don’t understand how easy these pre-booking services make parking at Gatwick Airport. All they are doing is setting up a date and time for when they’ll be at the airport, and then paying for it online. Once it comes time for them to actually go to the airport, and park, they are able to pull right up to their parking space, and park. No hassle whatsoever. “ Gatwick Airport has around twelve different parking options for their guests to choose from. This includes the two valet parking areas, and the four short-term lots. While this may seem like a decent amount of parking available, future guests must keep in mind that this is one of the busiest single-runway airports in the world. With these services, individuals can now take out a small amount of stress when it comes to their visit to Gatwick Airport. While parking at Gatwick Airport may not be the biggest problem, it is definitely one which a lot of airport guests won’t miss.
