Revenue for the third quarter of 2010 was $31.7 million, down 18% sequentially from the second quarter of 2010 primarily due to lower patent royalty revenue. As compared to the third quarter of 2009, revenue was up 14% primarily due to the revenue recognized from the agreements signed with Samsung during the first quarter of 2010.
Revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2010 was $232.5 million, up 183% over the same period of last year which was also due to the agreements signed with Samsung during the first quarter of 2010.
SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK), the global leader in flash memory cards, recently announced results for the third quarter ended October 3, 2010.
Total third quarter revenue of $1.23 billion increased 32% on a year-over-year basis and increased 5% on a sequential basis. Net income, in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), was $322 million, or $1.34 per diluted share, compared to GAAP net income of $231 million, or $0.99 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2009 and GAAP net income of $258 million, or $1.08 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2010.
NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTCT), an industry leader for advanced network and service assurance solutions, reported its financial results for its second quarter of fiscal year 2011 ended September 30, 2010.

Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq:DAKT) announced that its Board of Directors approved a special cash dividend of $0.50 per share of common stock.
