   Windstream Corp. (Nasdaq:WIN) announced today the expiration and final results of its previously announced tender offer to purchase for cash up to $1.1 billion aggregate outstanding principal amount of its 8.625% Senior Notes due 2016 (referred to below as the "notes"). The tender offer for the notes expired at 12:00 midnight, New York City time, on March 29, 2011 (the "Expiration Date"). As of the Expiration Date, Windstream had received tenders with respect to $1,036,252,000 aggregate principal amount of the notes (approximately 59.4% of the outstanding aggregate principal amount of the notes) pursuant to Windstream's Offer to Purchase, dated March 2, 2011, as supplemented by Supplement No. 1 to Offer to Purchase, dated March 14, 2011 (as so supplemented, the "Offer to Purchase"), and the related Letter of Transmittal. Windstream accepted for payment and paid for all such validly tendered notes on March 30, 2011.
