Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh just got a new rival today with the launch of www.themightygwinn.com, a website that showcases the rapier wit and conservative views of The Mighty Gwinn, a Houston Internet radio broadcaster who promises listeners he will "take on the forces of evil one issue at a time." "Rush has been on the top of the conservative talk show heap for two decades," says radio personality Dylan Gwinn, who says he is setting his sights on becoming a liberal-fighting conservative talk show host of the same caliber as Limbaugh - "except my target audience is a new generation of conservatives." A disciple of the late President Ronald Reagan, The Mighty Gwinn says he honed his conservative credentials "in the belly of the liberal beast," as a native of Washington, D.C. He says his lifetime of experience dealing with "annoying leftists", along with his willingness to use a new medium to broadcast Themightygwinn.com, sets him apart from any other conservative radio talk show host in the country. Gwinn, 31, says he isn&#t afraid to take on the arch-nemeses of the conservative radio listener: he takes aim not only America&#s targets in the war on terror, "but those at home who support the war half-heartedly." The Democratic Congress, Hollywood and the media are all in The Mighty Gwinn&#s crosshairs. "In light of the new legislative majority in Washington," says Gwinn, "it seems to me that we&#re going to have to re-define the meaning of the term &#support the troops.&# I, The Mighty Gwinn, have done so!" According to Gwinn, &#support the troops&# now means: -Sending a general that you have no confidence in halfway around the world to perform a task you&#re dooming to fail. -Saying you hope the mission succeeds, while looking for ways to cut the funding. -Saluting, and saying you&#re reporting to duty while claiming the troops are terrorizing women and are too dumb to do anything else. -Calling the troops heroes while likening them to Nazis, Pol Pot&#s henchman and Stalin&#s Gulag wardens. -Saying Iraq is overrun with terrorists, while also saying Iraq has nothing to do with the War on Terror. -Saying you hope the troops succeed, while also saying there&#s no such thing as victory. Aren&#t you happy I cleared that up for you?" Gwinn, who claims to be "unafraid to take on the left any time of day or night," will update the new website four times a week with hour-long segments from his conservative radio talk show. "The Mighty Gwinn combines the best of traditional terrestrial radio with the opportunities only an Internet radio show can offer," says the young radio talk show host. "People don&#t listen to someone like Rush Limbaugh just because they agree with what he&#s saying; they&#re also looking to be entertained." Gwinn says his new website gives younger conservatives a chance to hear about important issues and have a few laughs in the process." News that a conservative radio talk show host has taken to the Internet can hardly be thrilling to Sen. Hillary Clinton, says Gwinn. He pulls no punches when he talks about the New York senator. "People like Billary are running around lying about what they voted for four years ago at the expense of the troops they voted to send to war in order to appeal to the treasonous base of their traitorous party," he says. "It&#s up to The Mighty Gwinn to ensure a conservative talk show exists to let people know what the truth is!" Gwinn says he has big plans for the future of his conservative radio talk show. "One of the greatest things about the Internet is the opportunity for interaction," he says. "I hope our listeners will take the time to email me so we can talk about the conservative issues important to them. Making the show a two-way street is a great way to make the discussion worthwhile. In the near future, we&#re going to start doing the show live and set things up so people can call in, and that&#s something I&#m really excited about." "Now, more than ever, conservatives need a new breed of conservative radio talk show host," says Gwinn, who says he is unafraid of liberals and controversy.
